Ever the contradiction, the boy can't seem to make up his mind about anything. He's extremely shy, but likes to meet new people. That makes it difficult at times because all he wants to do is withdraw into himself a bit, but he knows that won't do well to make a new friend, either. He doesn't always know what to say to them, either, which is part of why he tends to stay quiet. Known for talking softly and sticking more to himself, the smart teen doesn't really like homework or essays, but he always does well on them. He's not an extremely over-achiever, though he would like to make top of the class before they graduate. He doesn't quite have the attention span or the drive to actually do so, though. Al does love to pull pranks as well, something that seems to be a family trait. His favorite subjects are on his closest friends and family, but he honestly doesn't pull pranks too often. This is simply because he takes his time to think out really clever ones instead of rushing into an overused and predictable one. Fred tries to keep up a 'macho' look, so I don't think it'd be likely that he'd be buddy-buddy with Albus, but I think he'd find himself liking Albus at least a little bit. I think they might be occasional prank buddies when they were growing up, though they may have drifted off a bit since then, seeing how they're in rival houses.

A thread between these two would be interesting... in my head I can see Fred, though he never usually does get emotional with people, having a heart-to-heart conversation with Albus .

Or, if you wanted to thread and didn't like the above idea, Fred and Albus could meet up in the hallways after curfew, by accident or purpose, and Fred could drag him along into a bit of trouble he's wanting to start....
